There was a lot of information in this 2 part module. I was raised in the world of Christianity but suffered much abuse within that realm. I do believe in respecting all beliefs without prejudice. I have always felt different and I now believe I am awakening in a very spiritual way. I want to learn everything I can so I can embrace who I have always been but haven’t understood. I am very drawn to crystals and oracle/tarot cards. I feel like I also have some type of gift when it comes to dreams. I am an empath and feel things very deeply. I am looking for clarity and growth and understanding. I love the history you provided regarding religion, symbols and tools, and look forward to learning as much as I can about all things spiritual. I am excited to be a part of a community of like minded individuals who embrace the connections we all share.

I learned about esbats and sabbats. Esbats are regularly scheduled coven meetings where magick is done. The Sabbats are 8 in number and include the equinoxes and the winter and summer soslstice. Also I remember learning about Book of Shadows and keeping this for purposes of having personal spells for myself. How we consecrate tools is very important and the first one should be the athame. It’s important that we know how to
Erecting the Temple is the opening of the circle. Later becomes Clearing of the Temple where the circle is closed.
There should be one lady (high priestess) and one gentleman (priest) leading the ceremonies.
Rituals are sacred and each time you cast a circle you are consecrating the moment into the now.
That is some of what I’ve learned.

in this module, i learned that there are more tools that are used in many different religions and the differences in tools that are unique to everyone’s spirituality.

I was impressed with the way we have evolved from such basic tools to survive into tools to make our lives easier and able to compete tasks

I did not know the wand is “used to summon certain spirits with whom it would not be meet to use the athame.” It is known about certain elemental spirits; it is traditionally believed they are fearful of iron and steel. -j that was interesting. Also I did not know about the cord uses aside from ceremonial dress purposes. I like to make my own wands and recently just made two that came out really nice. I also have some long sticks that could be used as a staff but I am undecided on their purpose yet. I love working with the elements and have several tools and things for each element. I do have a few different altars, One for Hekate with my Ancestor altar, One is more like a nature altar – lots of vines, and tree figurines and very Earth/foresty. I do have a place on my wall for Bastet as I had my share of random cats and kittens finding me that needed vet assistance and TNR. I also have a garden area that is special to me as well, and learning to work with herbs and plant spirit. I am a new Reiki Master. I am interested in the Shamanic path, and Ancestor work. I am Pagan, Witch, Hekatean. I am also ordained by ULC and I am the Priestess (i prefer mage) Mage of A Sacred Nature Circle. Namaste & Merry Meet!
