Learn how to become a Wiccan and discover your magick!
The choice to become a Wiccan can be a big deal. In America especially, becoming something other than Christian can be seen as flying in the face of good sense all the way to evil. But you are here because you know your heart and soul beat to a different drum. That melody is the heartbeat of the Universe, the rhythm of life of Gaia, and the music of the spheres within our cells.
You are here because your being craves the magick, mystery, and peace found in the natural world and old ways. Here because you want create new ways to heal and view the world based on ancient knowledge and practices. This will take you cultivating your power, skills, focus, and faith. A witch is nothing without these things, with the exception of the heart. Your heart will forever be your greatest magickal tool.
At the end of this course, you will be able to celebrate the Wiccan sabats of the Wheel of the year, cast a magickal circle, meditate to cultivate your inner peace and power, begin using tarot cards, runes, or scrying, start your home herbalism practice, discover how to raise your energy for magickal and spell workings, and work with your body’s subtle energy for healing and magick workings.
This course can take a few shorts months or as long as you need. When you have completed the course work, you will be able take a test which will qualify to become an initiated or self-dedicated witch within our national organization and online community. If attained, your rank would then become 5th level witch and acting priest/ess (or whichever appropriate rank title you prefer).
This course is really just beginning of your magickal journey and your journey with the Order of Sen-Taur. Even if you never choose to go beyond the 5th level, we have a rich and diverse community to grow in and have many plans for future courses, learning tracks, and magickal enrichment!

From history, to philosophy, to the meaning of the Wheel of the year, Sabbats and esbats, you will learn what a witch does and honors.
The Foundations of Magick
From casting a magick circle, holding rituals, consecrating your ritual tools, and an introduction to divination and meditation techniques, you will explore all the facets of a well-rounded magickal education.
The Foundations of your Magickal Path
As you delve into the world of Wicca and Magick you will be asked to start gathering your personal tools, practice your new skills, and start keeping your book of shadows. This is the time you will also start opening to your witch power and intuition.
What’s Wicca, you ask?
Wicca is based on ancient traditions which spread across Europe. While specific traditions have been practiced for thousands of years, Wicca only formalized in the 1950’s. Wicca was developed in England during the first half of the 20th century and was introduced to the public in 1954 by Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant.
Wicca is often confused with witchcraft, but it isn’t solely the practice of witchcraft. There are some Wiccans who only worship the God and Goddess rather than perform magick or spellwork. Wicca is a religion in itself.
Wicca is also confused with Satanism, but nothing could be further from the truth. Wiccans believe in many gods and goddesses, as well as spirits from nature (like rocks and plants). We have no concepts like Satan or the devil in our religion.
Wicca is based on natural laws and love for self and others.

We are dedicated to ensuring you understand the fundamental skills and knowledge to become Wiccan and start your own magickal path. This course is completed by reading a textbook, then having a call or video chat with one of our teachers. Each chapter of the book has a video summary, found in the curriculum section below, and then an online chapter quiz to help you move toward initiation.
Course Requirements
- Passed the Intro to the Order of Sen-Taur course
- Become a Propecticus within the Order
- Be willing to purchase or already have the text book “The Complete Book of Witchcraft” by Raymond Buckland. (you can use any source for the book, but you can also purchase the book through our Order shop for a discounted price)
- Have a device with internet connection and the ability to do online calls.
- Be willing to learn the secrets, be daring enough to practice the magick to ask for what you desire, be strong of will and intent, and have the faith to watch the natural magick of the world unfold.
- Have the ability to start gathering your personal ritual tools and other magickal supplies.

Published numerous articles and taught many students over the years. Awarded many certificates and certifications and holds a Doctorate of Divinity.
